Zero Edition is a highly specialized Swiss evaluation institute. Zero means a zero trimmed by LEAN management. The zero point as a minimum system requirement to ensure functionality (edition).
STORY
Bernhard Wallner and Jon Ritter met for the first time in 2021. They quickly realized that their different backgrounds and their shared attitudes formed an incredibly solid foundation for a fruitful collaboration. The foundation was laid for an intensive exchange with the aim of making the European building stock fit for climate change. The founding of Zero Edition was sealed.

In its current form, Zero Edition can be seen as the pinnacle of a development process that started from the bottom. In addition to the assessment, Zero Edition can also ensure that each assessment is backed by a concrete implementation option. With its credo of determining the point zero, Zero Edition provides evidence of how the assessed transition risks can be avoided cost-effectively during construction.
WORKING METHODS
Zero Edition divides this into two areas: the building and the building services. Both must be understood in detail and optimally combined to avoid unnecessary costs in accordance with LEAN management. This connection is answered by a dynamic building simulation (virtual twin).
SIMULATION MODEL
Zero Edition coordinates structural components with building technology to reduce energy consumption using thermal component activation and quantum mechanics. This is calculated using AI-supported dynamic building simulations. Reducing energy consumption is crucial to avoiding transition risks.
By applying quantum mechanics, Zero Edition optimizes energy distribution in buildings, thereby minimizing energy consumption and simplifying building technology. Quantum mechanical principles have been integrated into an AI simulation program, enabling significant cost reductions.
The result is made available to the client in the form of a comprehensive building assessment.
